BERRY STABLE is a horse-management and racing game. This policy explains what the game stores and why.
Data we process
- Account data: the player name you choose, a salted PBKDF2 hash of your PIN (never the PIN itself), a random account ID, and a session token.
- Cloud save: the game progress JSON you explicitly upload from Settings → Cloud Save.
- Dragon & Tiger leaderboard: your account name, horse name, distance, best time, date and weekly board key.
- Local data: progress, settings and cached state in the app/browser storage on your device.
- Basic server logs: IP address, request time and path for security and troubleshooting.
- Advertising (iOS): if you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may process a device/advertising identifier, IP address, ad interaction and diagnostic data to deliver and measure the ad.
Why we use it
To sign you in, store/restore a cloud save, show the weekly leaderboard, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal data. The iOS build may show optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Ad requests are made in non-personalized mode; we do not use cross-app tracking.
Advertising
Optional rewarded ads in the iOS build are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads. We request non-personalized ads (npa) and do not request App Tracking Transparency permission or use cross-app tracking. You can limit ad personalization in iOS Settings; see Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you do not want to watch an ad, the reward is simply not granted.
Where it is stored
Production account, leaderboard and cloud-save data are stored on Cloudflare (Workers + D1) behind HTTPS. The local development server is used only for testing. Local progress stays on the device.
Deletion and choices
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account & Cloud Data deletes the server account, cloud save and leaderboard scores. Local progress remains unless you also use Reset Progress. You can also contact the address above. We aim to respond within 7 days.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account with a real name or personal information if you are under 13; use a nickname and ask a parent/guardian.
Security and retention
PINs are hashed; tokens are random. No system is perfectly secure. Server data is kept while the account exists and is removed on deletion. Backups may take a short period to expire.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
